Mortars and Mastics
Refractory mortars and mastics for joining ceramic bricks in linings.
MORTAX — dry mixture for any type of ceramic brick joining with working temperature up to 1700 °C for use in foundry and steelplant ladles, industrial furnace kilns and high-temperature operations.
Ceramic bond (heat-set) mortars require mixing with water, and the bond gains strength only after the lining is heated to a specified temperature.
Air-setting mortars:
Refractory wet mastics — ready-to-use adhesives for joining bricks including lightweight insulation products such as boards. The advantage is that the joint gains strength immediately after application without the need for heating.
